End of Life Pet Portraits
Brittany came to me wanting an end of life portrait session of her dog Riley. It’s always so hard as a pet partent when it comes time to say goodbye, but having happy portraits to remember their life is a great way to help their memory live on. Brittany wanted these portraits as a final goodbye and a celebration of his life.
Here is what she had to say about him: “I’ve had him my entire adult life! He has been through college, relationships, many moves, marriage, medical school and now residency. He has always been by my side. I also adopted him at a very low point in my life and he was exactly what I needed to get me back on track. I’ve taken him just about everywhere since I was 19.”
We were worried Riley wasn’t going to make it in the days leading up to the session, but thankfully he did and we were able to capture some beautiful images. Riley kept us on our toes as he surprisingly had plenty of energy during the portrait session. He didn’t want to cooperate for a lot of the poses we wanted to get but we still ended up with a full gallery of beautiful shots.
Here are some favorites from this sweet session.
Brittany, thank you for trusting me to capture these portraits for you. I know you will cherish them forever!
