Since it’s kind of a “thing” in Virginia to have a personalized license plate, I decided it would be fun to compile a list of horse themed license plate ideas that are currently available in our state! These are all 6 character combinations so they can be used with the Horse Enthusiast license plate pictured below.
Here are some I came up with that are available as of today (4/7/16) in Virginia.

Create Your Personalized Plate
Use one of the ideas listed above or come up with something more personal and use your horse’s name, breed, color or your specific discipline. If what you want is not available, get creative! Here are some tips to try if exactly what you want is already taken.
1. Use the picture of the horse for part of your message.
I think these are cute if you have a truck!
“to tow my horse”
or
“headed to my horse”
2. Use numbers in place of letters and vice versa.
I=1 Z=2
E=3 A=4
S=5 b=6
T=7 g=9
3. Use letters or numbers to replace letters or groups of letters that make a similar sound.
Z instead of S
“ate”=8
2 for TO or TWO or TOO
Q, K, & C can sometimes be used as substitutes like TAQBOX instead of TAKBOX
4. Check DMV to see if your plate is available.

This site was… how do you say it? Relevant!! Finally I have found something that helped me.
Appreciate it!
Help! I would like to use the phrase “Hold Your Horses” on my plate but can’t seem to fit it into 7 spaces without looking like jibberish. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
