Allison is a senior at Grassfield High School in Chesapeake and my third senior this year (seniors are so much fun!). I want to give a big shout out to Haley and her mom for sending her my way! Y’all are awesome! Allison wanted to have a variety for her pictures so we did one mini session at the beach and one regular session closer to home in River Walk. Allison’s first senior portrait session was a few weeks ago at Fort Story. Even though the sun didn’t join us and scattered showers threatened, we stuck to the plan and I’m glad we did! We battled the hurricane-like winds and spray from the ocean but I love how the photos turned out! Allison is so pretty and definitely made my job easy. She was also a great sport dealing with the strong winds that blew her hair all around. Allison is planning on attending Virginia Tech next fall to study political science, GO HOKIES! Here are a few of my favorites from her Fort Story session.
She totally owned the strong winds blowing her hair all around!
Allison’s second session was supposed to be the day after her beach session. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate at all for two weeks! Between the system that dumped rain on us for days on end, flooding and a possible visit from Hurricane Joaquin we rescheduled a couple times before we ended up with a perfect and beautiful evening for the second shoot. I could not have asked for better light, it was awesome, along with the cooler fall temperatures! Allison was a pro, she can’t take a bad picture! Here are some of my favorites (that were so hard to narrow down) from her second senior session in River Walk.
I couldn’t get enough of this back lighting, simply beautiful!
She has such gorgeous hair!
Allison, thank you so much for allowing me to capture you in your senior year of high scool! You are a beautiful person inside and out. Enjoy every moment of this special time in your life, it goes by way to quickly. I hope you have an amazing senior year and good luck in Blacksburg next fall as a Hokie!!
