It’s been much too quiet in my little corner of the internet while I’ve been working nonstop behind the scenes. Now that things have slowed down for the moment, I wanted to revisit sessions from 2021 that I never had the time to blog! First up: Jane & Sully!
Jane and her horse Sully were such a pleasure to work with. Not only that, but we got super lucky during this summer evening session and were able to dodge the rain for the majority of our time together! It had been storming not long before I arrived for Jane’s session and we did have a few sprinkles to deal with, but for the most part, the weather cooperated.
Jane was a trooper for dealing with the unpredictable Virginia weather and Sully was such a gentleman and wasn’t bothered one bit. We got some great shots in just a little over 30 minutes, the benefit to shooting quickly haha! Here are some of my favorites of our time together during their summer evening mini session!
I love that Jane’s second look was her riding outfit. It is always a great idea to mix things up so you have more variety in your portraits.
We took advantage of the barn aisle while it sprinkled so Jane and Sully could stay dry. I love how these turned out and am glad we escaped to the barn during the rain.
